kó WILL PRESENT aN SOLO EXHIBITION OF NGOZI-OMEJE EZEMA. THIS EXHIBITION IS THE FIRST OF A THREE-PART EXHIBITION SERIES WITH ARTISTS FROM THE NSUKKA SCHOOL, FEATURING Ngozi-Omeje ezema, Eva obodo and ozioma ONUZuLIKE, WHOSE SCULPTURES, MIXED MEDIA AND INSTALLATION EMBRACE MATERIALITY AND EXPERIMENTAL PROCESSES.

Ngozi-Omeje Ezema is a ceramic artist who creates immersive installations with suspended pieces of terracotta. Taking her personal experiences as a point of departure, her work addresses issues relating to identity, family and the female body. She often references the object of the vessel in various ways, taking inspiration from the forms and materials of the natural environment.
